Present:  Steve Schwab, Andy Goldman, Zee Gamson, Jim Feiner and Lisa Specht,
             Administrative Assistant
Absent:  Bill Randol, Tim Lasker


Steve Schwab opened the meeting at 4:05.

The Minutes of November 20, 2006 were amended and approved as amended.

The committee discussed the Housing Committee 2008 Budget Worksheet.
Minor changes were made. Lisa Specht, Administrative Assistant will fill in the worksheet with the changes made and submit it to the Town Accountant.

The Committee went into Executive Session to discuss the Homesite Housing Application submitted by Jeff Day. Executive Session was then concluded.

After the Executive Session concluded, the members present approved the application and asked Lisa to draft a letter to him stating that he has been approved subject to the new Guidelines and certain Deed Restrictions.  Letters to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board will also be drafted.

Andy Goldman spoke about the Implementation Guidelines in relation to the Martha’s Vineyard Commission.

It was moved and seconded to prepare the Implementation Guidelines for Public Hearing on January 4, 2007.  Lisa and Zee will prepare a press release or legal notice for the Chilmark columns and classified ads.  Lisa will send the notice within the next couple of days.

Steve suggested the Public Hearing be taped.

Zee requested that the applicants be notified of the Public Hearing.

Zee discussed the importance of paying attention to the Middle Line Road Community Housing Program timeline and how the project deadlines are fast approaching.

Lisa told the Committee that Tim Carroll, the Executive Secretary for the town of Chilmark would be responsible for doing the Homesite Applicant CORI’s

The Housing Committee received a letter from Lenore O’Gorman stating that the assessed value of her property  (Map 3   Lots 6,7,8) was 1,490,000.00, not 490,000.
Lisa will send a memo to the Selectmen with Ms. O’Gorman’s proposal.
